  Scherrer Winery makes some of the most graceful wines, drinkable on release or aged to each wine's plateau of yum.
  
  Some of the best wines are the Scherrer Vineyard's Cabernet for aging and racy Chardonnay as well as the Old and Mature Zinfandel. My absolute favorite is the Russian River Pinot Noir which greatly repays some extra bottle age.
  
  Wow! What a wine and a great winery all at the end of a dirt road.
